Bethany Knight from Forget Me Not Photograpy stops by the monkey often to relax and enjoy a drink. She is an incredible photographer who uses only natural light in her work. She "focuses" (pun intended) on children, babies, and families. Check out her site and see her for your next family portrait.
NEEDTOBREATHE
The band from NEEDTOBREATHE stopped by at the Monkey earlier
this month. Later Shannon joined them at the studios of shine.fm
to listen to some of their music.
NEEDTOBREATHE has a great song on the charts right now, Washed by the Water playing on Christian and secular stations across the nation. NEEDTOBREATHE recently opened for the Blues Travelers. The guys are from Possum Kingdom, South Carolina and the album "The Heat:" is on Atlantic Records.

Phil Joel
Phil Joel was in
the area recently and we were honored that he spent a little time at the Monkey. Phil
is a solo artist who released his first album, Watching Over You
in 2000. Since then he has released two other critically acclaimed albums,
Bring It On in 2002 and
The deliberatePeople. Album in 2005. He was previously the
bassist for the band newsboys.
Phil said we "made the best 'flat white' this side of New Zealand". We'd have to agree though we might be a bit biased!
Phil was kind enough to take a few pictures with the team from the Moon Monkey Coffee Company. He also stopped by the shine.fm studios for some pictures. Thanks for visiting the Monkey Phil!
